Good question Thomas,

It will draw it up from the bottom through the hole below the combustion
chamber.  I am planning a ram-jet kind of contraption that sucks in what little
air there is and compresses it for use in the furnace.  It needs to do this so
that it doesn't use up all the oxygen inside the vehicle that the travelers will
need to survive.

I'm also planning on adding a variety of other external tanks and pipes that
will contain fuel and additional oxygen.
