Yeah - it's to do with where you consider the authoritative pixel value to be -
in the center of the voxel, or in the lower corner.

I remember writing code to correct for exactly that in my DF3 proximity code. I
need to look at it again, as it might have changed during the 3.7 beta cycle
(there was a post about interpolation a few months back I recall).
