Here's the image:

Basically, the whip is an icosahedron spinning and rotating about the origin
with the radius of the spiral oscillating a bit to get rid of some of that
"It's just a mathematical spiral" look. A "bridge piece" was needed to make the
coil connect up with the handle. Further developments and improvements are
welcomed.
