Interesting composition, I keep thinking the CP is transparent.


You can partially see the <artwork> reflected on the surface of the sphere.
This reminds me of an experiment/technique I wanted to ask others about.

It seems possible to see the artwork fully, but distorted, if viewed from
another angle. If that is possible, then the resulting image be saved.

How could this image be mapped back onto the sphere with the original artwork
replaced by a reflective plane?

The result from the original position would be a similar to the original artwork
and the resulting image as bluetree has rendered it above.

I have the rough idea in mind, but no useful knowledge to get the
saved/distorted view of the artwork mapped back onto the sphere.

Any suggestions, thanks in advance?
