We have been through this over and over again throughout the beta testing
rounds. The expiration is there for a reason. If people truly want to
assist in the development of POVRay, then they will understand and respect
the reason for expiring betas. This also allows anyone in the POV comunity
to to take part in the beta development processes.
We went throught this same kind of continual debate through the 3.5 beta
testing. If it keeps continuing, in the future, the POV development team
may consider closing off public beta testing in the future altogether...
