Oh! Seems like i forgot the outside rear-view mirrors ;-)

To be serious: To be realistic, future space vehicles don't have any windows
at all IMHO. One could use cameras and monitors instead. In addition
distances in space are so big that one would not be able to see a hostile
ship through a window anyway as one would already be dead when you would be
near enough ;-)

Don't get me wrong when i say i don't care that much about realism because
in fact i do. but wouldn't spacefights be extremely boring without cool
sounds, visible laserrays and things like that? one has to find the right
balance :-)
