Nice look & feel! Makes me grab my jacket.

If you're using the poser texture for the horse, try adding a rough granite
normal to the mane & tail to help mask the hard edges. Ideally they need an
alpha mapped transparency, but that requires too much work :-/

The granite just adds enough roughness so it's less noticable. (And
actually, the mane is usually darker than the fur, not lighter)
