Thanks to all !
I did not expect such an infatuation.

As requested, some comments :
Lightning : radiosity, image map as light sources.

POV Focal blur (besides, it gives an very efficient but time consuming
antialiasing effect. It is probably due to the sampling method, isn't it
?).

Frenel reflection/refraction for all reflecting textures.

The wood textures :
Usual Image map with the relevant bump map or the relevant heightfield.

Post-processing :
Sorry but the focal blur was made with povray and was not postprocessed (the
rendering time still hurts).
The gimp was used for tint and for gamma correction (+curve).
Sometimes, I add a glow effect (Gaussian blur on bright pixels) to give a
warm mood (refer to sponza pictures) or a glittering effect (scene
radiosite.jpg)

Rendering time :
Rendering time for atrium.jpg is about 1.5 hour for the radiosity
calculation with no antialiasing nor focal blur. 8 hours for the final
pass. (Athlon 1.4Ghz 256 Mo DDR)
Postprocess : tint, gamma-correction, glow, and the sky which was added
after a sky picture downloaded from the net.

I hope it is clear (sorry for my english)

The next weekend, I will post the source for one of these pictures.

Bye,

Jerome
