As a tiny contribution to povray, I have converted the documentation into
pdf format. There are two files:

povray-scr.pdf - this is in landscape mode, and designed to be read on
screen. New sections start on new pages. No bookmarks in this one, for
technical reasons.

povray-doc.pdf - this one is designed for printing, and has bookmarks too.
