Me too. And for me, significant whitespace is very much a "Don't do that
then" thing. Not that I don't enforce whitespace; if I had my way, our
version-control software here would check for compliance with the coding
standards before allowing checkins. Unfortunately, the software isn't up
to it and neither is the code (which a whole bevy of contractors got to
before we did.)
