Finally, after months and months, I'm ready to release this little GUI
Extension.

You can retrieve it at http://www.dreampeach.com/QuietPOV/

This allows you to run POV-Ray for Windows from the command-line, but still
let's POV-Ray load as normal with splash screen and all. Let me know if you
find it useful.

Wonderful! Just what I was looking for. But for some stange circumstances
the DLL file was missing after the installation. I just renamed QuietPOV.pge
to QuietPOV.dll. Now it works.

Thanks alot!

Alex

The GUI Extension license agreement requests that the GUI Extension .dll
files end with .pge. I just checked the install and it worked correctly.
If you changed the directory, or possibly edited the PVENGINE.INI file by
hand, this might happen. I think in the documentation I put ".dll". I
should probably change it to ".pge".

I guess as long as it's working for you that's all the matters. cool...

Actually, you were right. In the QuietPOV.exe it was trying to link to the
".dll" instead of a ".pge". I updated the QuietPOV-install.exe with the new
QuietPOV.exe.

Thanks for the feedback!
