Has anybody created a version of POVRay 3.1 engine that supports
multiple processors under NT? I've got it running great with a 233MMX,
but I certainly would like to be able to access that other processor
sitting right there beside it...

Looking for the same kind of exe. But would it really share it ? I heard about
similar utility under Unix, splitting the picture in many "worklets" and
distributing it through multi proc or even through a network, but never under
NT. I read sooner an answer from the PoV Team (Hi God !) saying that using
multi-threading across PoV source would be a major update, so I think an
external utility would be more easy (thinking about a network with NT/95/98
computers, though). Of course, the problem would be harder with multi proc.

A tortured solution would be to assign different PoV sessions to each of the
machine's CPU, and split the picture as I said earlier. But I haven't any idea
about the way it could be done...

I think that pov itself will take advantage of it if you launch a second copy.
I'm not sure, but I'm fairly certain that I've seen that stated somewhere.
