You have? Oooohh... this is exactly the same MegaPov 0.5, but with the 3.1g
GUI?
If so, could you put it up for download? Plleeeaasseeee :)

It was until I patched it for MPEG-1 output.

I don't know if I'm allowed. I'll do it if I have some extra time.

Please turn on the switch ProgressOnOneLine in your config.h.
I added that switch because on the Mac we prefer not to have newlines.
Previously the switch was MACOS but we changed that for other platforms.
Post processing is also controlled by that switch!
Please see frame.h and look for ProgressOnOneLine. There is a bit of
comment there.
And... those // comments in lathe.c are (c) Smellenbergh :-( Sorry for
that.... and then you should know that we have the switch turned on to
warn Nathan obout those c++ comments he put in. This time we send
lathe.c to Nathan before we removed those comments.
Yvo Smellenbergh.

Right you are. Updated IE to the same version number here and
all is fine. Who would have ever guessed upgrading IE would fix that.
Thanks for the tip.

I think it has to do with the version of comctl32.dll (the common
controls library, whatever it was called).

Are you saying that you have a windows version of MegaPOV 0.5 that
will output MPEG video directly? That would be great. Could it be
ported to DOS as well?
This might also help solve the problem with animation file names that
some other people were having when using the post_processing features.
I sure hope you make your patch available to everyone else.
Later,

Same here. Which is why I forgot to upgrade the GUI source. Anyways, I
upgraded it (new version not ready for download yet), but it didn't seem to
fix the line of line garbage graphics in the message window. Thoughts?
