Very often I have generated a texture with sharp edges (ie: from a
repeat warp, checker, bricks, etc), and wanted to remove the harsh
edges.

Would it be possible for a patch that allows individual pigments to be
blurred? What about a Blur-map that uses a pigment as a basis for the
degree of blurring (similar to the post process mentioned a while back,
but applied to textures)?

I wish, I wish...

Simon

That post_process actually originated from one of my attempts at this, I
never got it to work right though. My patch blurred patterns only(not
pigments) and allowed a 3D matrix to be used. I will probably make
another attempt, and maybe make another type specifically for
pigments...blurring the pattern isn't always enough(image_map, block
patterns, etc).
