I don't see where it transforms the normal back into world space. Are
you sure this gives you the right results?

What does it do?
Could you post some images for what you have accomplished?

It marginally improves the render time of the superellipsoid object.
Where would be no visible difference for you to see if he posted
an image.

Actually, as I mentioned, there might be a visible difference in that
it doesn't appear to calculate the normal correctly.

Yeah but... There should be no discernible visible difference if it
worked as advertised.

What a bummer. I was hoping for some kind of smooth roundy thing that had
been "accelerated" in some way, perhaps into a 4th dimension or
something..................

My acceleration is NOT spectacular.
I only recalculate composition of linear functions.
All details can be found at description of Ellipsoid_Normal at sphere.c
at http://members.xoom.com/dmilos/prg/pov/sph/sphsrc.zip

In the best case, read SPECIAL, you have acceleration about 3%.

1. marginally - That's absolutely right!
2. superellipsoid - Actually ellipsoid.
