Contrary to version 3.13.15 beta, in the latest Poseray version 3.13.16
beta:
1) Some objects disappear from the preview after applying
Groups>Recalculate normals. Exported to POV-Ray however, the object
still exists.
2) Some objects do not respond to the Visiblity flag. They remain always
visible.
I cannot determine any special characteristics of the concerned obejcts
that may influence this response.
I have an obj that illustrates this (ca 10mb)

Thomas,
You can email me (fly### [at] yahoo com) the compressed file if
possible. I will take a look at it.

By the way, FlyerX, have you found the problem?

I emailed you back Aug 28.
Here is the text:
I tested the file several ways as you mentioned in the newsgroup and I
could not reproduce the problem. Can you give me a list of steps that
you took for the problem to be reproduced?
I loaded the model and turned visibility off/on for the mast and deck
with no issues. Also recalculated the normals for several parts and the
visibility worked for all groups.

I did not receive it. Note that my e-mail at the ng is an anti-spam
fake, so if you used that one it went nowhere.
I shall look into the problem again. In the mean time I have had several
objects showing the same so I switched temporarily back to version 15.

I am unable to reproduce the problem, which is good news, but I still
wonder what caused it in the first place.
If I get an idea, I shall tell you.
Thanks for looking into it nonetheless!
