This looks like it could be fun. You can actually explore the planets.

...wait, it's PlayStation-only? Awww.

Thought it was going to be cross-platform. Bummer. It looks neat, if
somewhat toned down from what E:D and SC are aiming for.

They plan to release it on pc afterwards. I only have a wii-u and a PC anyway.

Toned down on the multiplayer. But 'toned up' on the planetary exploration. I
don't think you can actually explore planets on E:D and SC.

Choices, choices too many choices. :)

...yet. Landing/walking around planets is a planned expansion for E:D,
but they want to take their time and do it well. Apparently NMS you can
only explore certain places on the planet; E:D will be wholly open.
From what I've read of what they're intending.

Still, it's a good time for space sims.

You can go right round the whole planet. I think it will take a while
though

It seems to me that E:D focuses more on trading and more realistic placing
of planets, while SC focuses more on the space-crafts and graphics, and
NMS focuses on planetary exploration.
