Moving on to a modern marketplace, Charing Cross, assuming the diagonal
is open. If I've misread it and it's not, then Hyde Park.

Well, compared to the paper tape, pretty good I hear. Compared to
something modern, though, not so much.

On the other hand it also depends whose hand we're talking about. :)

I thought your reaction might be something similar to that. Excellent, I
succeeded. ;)

As a gentleman I shall allow that play just once. The deliberate holding
of Stephen's diagonal, whilst legal, is not considered to be fair play.
Therefore ...
Glasgow Central

No problem, it is getting a bit cold for the midges, though.

Keeping to the Caledonian theme.
Auchenshuggle (not by the sea).

No, that's fair enough. It wasn't intended as a mean-spirited move, but
I can see why it might be taken that way.

Well, the rye will certainly come in handy.
Obviously, Dalmuir West is the next move, and given that I was /so/
aggressive on the last move, I'll go there. :)

A generous move. It seems that Stephen has several pathways to choose
from now.
BTW If you want to know why I'm awake at this hour (05.02 GMT), blame
the Feegle. The poor little thing has had a severe chest infection (his
temperature shot up to 40C at one point) and he's not sleeping well.
Anyhow, moving south again, Carlisle.
John

Not bad, but I'm waiting for Intel or AMD to produce a working 32 bit chip.

Yepp. Anything but a Samsung device.

Poor tyke.

Interesting fact: Carlisle is the most besieged place in the British
Isles. But I am not that interested and I see that the eastern egress is
free. So it is oft to hang a monkey.
Hartlepool (by the sea).
