My mind has just been blown.
The Feegle asked me to give him a pencil and said 'please'. Then when I
gave it to him he said 'thankyou'. Nursery school is good :-D

No. I said 'Prosim' but it has the same meaning.
We speak three languages at home: English, Slovak and Italian

Just to confuse everyone:

Mammas speak Slovak
Pappis speak English and ...
when we've been naughty we get told off in Italian.

LOL ... with my grand-daughter (2 yrs) we're getting to "sometimes even
when you say please the answer is no" ... as in no you can't have
chocolate milk before bed-time. Her counter to that is Pleeeease ... as
if extra long helps. So yep I agree with you ... nursery school is a
good thing. LOL ... excuse me is another big one around here!

Of course it helps. You might not have heard the first one.

Another biggie. When the Feegle spills something, he is insistent that
he will clean up the mess himself. He even waves you away if you try to
help. We're thinking about training him to do the washing as well ;-)
