So far I've uploaded almost everything in my back catalogue which
doesn't infringe somebody else's copyright. (I.e., hardly any of it.)
Now I just need to start producing some music actually worth listening to...

This has generated literally no excitement at all.

...and /this/ week, 70% of the activity came from Finland. And 70% of 10
plays isn't a very big number.
Either I'm doing a really bad job of promoting this, or my stuff just
sucks so much nobody wants to listen.
PS. I always think that websites where the "sign up" button is more
prominent than the "sign in" button have confidence issues...

I think it's safe to assume promotional difficulty. Raising a signal above the
noise level on the internet is a non-trivial task.
If you'd like, I can ask a real-life musicologist for a professional opinion on
the suckage level. :)
The first track up, "Distant Lands (V2)", reminds me a lot of Tangerine Dream.
(I still have most of their older catalog on vinyl.)

Why don't you record a video of yourself dressed as Lady Gaga playing the organ
and post it on youtube?
if you're really good, it may even turn into a meme.

Obviously it's the former, because one cannot find out whether your
stuff sucks or not unless one hits "play" ;-)
