  It's well known trivia.

No, it only make a noise if there is at least one person to perceive it
as a noise. Noise is a question of perception.

It ALWAYS make a _sound_.

In a variation, older master vampires are imune to Sun light, although
it may prevent them from using some abilities. It's assumed that they
protect themselves with their sheer will.
But, for lesser vampires that have been recently transformed, Sun light
can range from totaly debilitating, causing total paralisis, to
instantly deadly.
As new vampires ages, they may gain some progressive imunity to the Sun,
making it only harmfull rahter than deadly. Something like geting sun
burns in only a few seconds...

As a curious variation (minor spoiler alert), vampires in the Twilight
saga are impervious to sunlight, but they still avoid it because it makes
it very obvious that they are not normal.

People from this planet read and watch movies. Nosferatu is a
well-known classic movie.

Your definition of "well known" terrifies me.

Then again, "well known" and "trivia" are practically antonyms, so...

At this point it shouldn't be any surprise that you wouldn't fare very
well in quiz shows... ;)

Well, yeah, but I don't bother watching those things. There's "trivia"
and then there's "on which day of the week was J. S. Bach born?"

A much better movie than most shitty things these days.
