Actually, I think an "Instant Tea-Shirt" would be one you soak to make
tea.

Eww. I think I'll stop there.

You remind me, in the sixties I used tea to make a "tie and dyed"
T-shirt. Groovy! :)

But you were not yet arrived on planet Earth then. Tea has been used
as a dye since olden times. I've also made Tea wine, it is a tonic
wine.

Beetroot would seem a more obvious choice...

For a dye or wine?
Doesn't mater Beetroot is used for both. To quote your bard.

There are more things in heaven and earth, Invisible,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Now we know that you will be wearing a T-shirt, would it be too late to ask
that you also wear some lower-limb coverings. They're a bit funny about that
in the Jack Horner. (The Spanish Bar probably wouldn't give a damn)
I personally will be wearing Levi 501s (Red tag), whichever shirt is the
cleanest and a blue fleece. Will probably have my laptop with me (in a
courier satchel)
