I'm afraid you have no choice but to make it... <cracks knuckles> ...or
else... Right, boys? Hehehe...

PS: If and when you do, please work on the stuff from the French guys, not
from Hugo Elias. Please. I can e-mail it all to you, if you like.

Chris edits the parameters for TonyB's knuckles so they don't make that
annoying noise any more...
Oops, sorry about that. I didn't *mean* to freeze up all your joints. :-)

All I got from the French site was a bunch of missing images/animations
and one English paper in postscript format, which I haven't even looked
at yet. If you have more information, it would probably help.

I have all the animations and papers. Some are only available in French,
IIRC. I think I made them into PDFs. The images from the website are
included in the papers. I'll try to send you the papers little by little.

I compiled it for windows. Should I e-mail it to you?

That would be great, thanks.

Sorry if this has been discussed already (I'm falling a bit behind the latest
events here) -- do your particles interact with each other, too? Didn't see
mention of it in the docs.

In the latest versions of the patch on my hard drive, they do. I haven't
released this version yet, it is going through some fairly major changes.

You are writing a cloth patch?
Maybe we should work together...

hmm, just what kind of primative would you make 'cloth' out of? Actually
weave it? or simply use a mesh that has some calculated waves to it.... hmm
I think you guys are on to somthing....Now where did I put that C++
compiler...

Actually I was thinking of stitching bezier patches together, and making
the vertices available to the scene language(through functions,
similarly to my particle system) so you can make it yourself however you
want. At least, this is the approach I plan to take if I ever get around
to trying to make sense of those cloth simulation papers...

> Now where did I put that C++ compiler...

POV is currently only written in C, so technically you only need a C
compiler to write patches. :-)
