I can see this one getting smashed down from a mile away, but
here 'tis anyways:

Media. Radiosity. They don't interact. A scene lit only
by radiosity doesn't have media effects. It would be nice
if they did, methinks.

Dammit, here I am at the end of some unrelated thread that's a year
old.

Heh, and the computer required to do it will be ready around 2015.
But this would be nice, an atomic scale reality simulator that is.
Question is, can it be faked in the mean time?

6.11.11.2.9 Media and Radiosity
Radiosity estimation can be affected by media. To enable this feature, add
media on to the radiosity{} block. The default is off

I think he wants media affected by radiosity. So a high-ambient sphere
illuminates scattering media around it.
This would be slow...very, very slow. Maybe not too slow, though...it
might be similar to media and radiosity when they were introduced. It
would also be difficult to do right...you have media affecting radiosity,
and radiosity affecting media, so you have media affecting itself...and
you have to have some way of telling POV when it matters enough to
bother, just turning it on all the time would slow down existing scenes
that don't need it. Not something that is likely to get into POV 3.5.
