Has anyone else experienced this:

Rendering one of my scenes with radiosity turned on results in strange
artifacts (see the orange juice picture (p.b.i, some time ago) ... this
rendered fine in 3.5) Notably the cabinet in the upper-right portion of the
screen seems to suffer most from it.

I don't know if it's a misunderstanding on how to deal with the new
unclipped radiosity, or if there's something legitimately wrong with
POVRay... I'll post images later.

Oh yes indeed! (see 'beta-test'- and 'binaries'-forum for POVRay 3.6..;)

Ah! I remember your post ... but I thought it had to do with some 
problem with a sqrt function call in one of the reflection parameters. 
Come to think of it, after I looked over your scene file I noticed you 
had the same troublesome combination: Media & Radiosity with certain 
lighting situations.
