Hello,

Does anyone know of a utility (pref freeware) that will allow me to convert
between Pov and 3DS and allow me to convert these models into a format
readable by a DirectX app. This is for my Computing Thesis so help is
deeply appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Duncan Adamson

No.

If you can wait for the tessellation patch, someone might do something like
that. But I guess it would probably only be after 3.5 is officially
released..(?)

Thanks a lot - as I said to Nekar, it is a bit off topic for a povray group
but do you know of a 3D studio to DirectX converter?

If you can somehow get hold of an old version of 3dCanvas. The new version only
exports to .x with the registered version.

Thanks

Hmm. Doesn't 3dWin do .x export?
