(well, you may have to play with the file paths)
(if something is missing, tell me...)

Think you may need to explain the reasoning behind that "volmac.mac" file
you have included in the pov scene file. I'm sure someone else is going to
ask anyway so I might as well do it.
Apples Picture Viewer version 3.0 said the file was "corrupted" when I
double-clicked on it. I opened it with PSP 5 okay, looked like digital
code of some kind. Since the file alone is used there's no way of knowing
what it's doing for the scene itself.

Btw, so good of you to give this away to everyone, thankyou.

Hi Bob!

That's a funny one! Try to open volmac.mac with a text editor and you
find ... a (mac)ro. :-) Could have been my type of mistake!
That happen with Windows linking of extensions and file formats.

All the Best,

Marc

Yes, after seeing you say macro here it all makes sense now. To explain
what happened to completely confuse me is this: Upon extracting all the
files I proceeded to move them to respective places, library paths, to be
used later for a render. I noticed the mac file was being associated with
something, the Apple program tried to open it and so from then on I
figured it must be an image. I converted it to gif thinking I might need
it like that for the render. When I tried to look at this mac file all I
was seeing was the strange "coded" image. Now I've seen it is a macro in
Notepad as you say. I really had thought you had devised of a way to have
a midi file converted to a picture and then used to play the synthesizer
keys for a while there. Going to send the resulting gif file over to you
so you know what I was seeing.
Been a fun experience all right.

Thanks for the pic, had a nice laugh.
Yeah the file looks funny and I guess I would have assumed it to be a
picture format too.

Your mail had a funny reply address (Xyz### [at] aolcom).

All the best,

Oops, yep, my newsgroup-reading screen name for AOL. Keeps the Instant
Messages down. So please keep this a secret, shhh!
Oh, drat though, you've certainly let the cat out of the bag. But maybe
the few people who see it here isn't going to matter. It's the masses of
AOL users out there that IM me because of a Computing Chat room I visit
frequently, not the mere handful of POVers here, to worry about. So, no
matter.
