Monsieur Mange Tout? O_O

It is not actually a recommendation. It starts off well but descends
into flights of fantasy.

IMO His earlier work: The Demolished Man, Tiger! Tiger! (The Stars My
Destination). Are required reading.

And I ordered mine on Amazon.com :)

Another SSLT test - I wanted to try subsurface on a classical marble column, so
I found a poorly made, free model online and cleaned it up in Silo and PoseRay.
You can still see some of the wonkiness in the mesh, but after battling this
beast all weekend I'm calling it done for now. Here's my rendering of a 'Column
and Dodecahedron'

Column looks like alabaster. Maybe for marble the transparency should be
a bit less?

Otherwise, sslt is very fine. I am working on a little piece myself;
coming later today I guess.
