Yvo Smellenbergh has been very timely in compiling unofficial versions for the
Mac, so you needn't be left out when 3.7.1, or even UberPov, is released.

Very good! It reminds me of the smaller, mostly uninhabited islands where I
live. There just need to be some grass and broadleaf shrubs to cover the bare
ground on the interior of the island.

Your larger version posted fine; the Web interface just doesn't show the
preview.

Welcome back! At first glance this reminded me of the image I entered
into the last ever IRTC round (attached). However, the soft lighting,
the sea haze and the surf are way better than I produced - I didn't even
go for surf.
Are the palm trees Arbaro or PovTree?

Fantastic... my only complaint would be the (apparently) too
homogeneous sizes of the trees. Other than that, it's awesome.

BTW, you must have got all the cold there, because here we have some

Thanks, everyone! It's good to be back; I've missed POV!

The lighting is just radiosity, a couple of fog layers, light colors, and a
little post-processing to give it a bit of glow.

They do look a little out of scale, don't they? I'll have to shrink those down
and add some more ferns like Cousin Ricky suggests.

Nice scene! I really like the texture on those cliffs!

The trees are from PovTree. I'd never heard of Arbaro - looks like I might need
to check it out.
