Thanks.

Not a GM fan in particular, I just tend to use the good quality models I can
find. I'll see if I can find a good Cobra...

1968 Shelby Cobra. Not the best model, but I did refine it a little myself.

And a 1967 Shelby GT350, same colours, to boot. The wheels that came with this
one were horrible, so I had to swap in from a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda...

These look great Trevor, that's a really nice HDR & ground setup you've got
there.

I've never tried rendering a car before, looks like fun! Where did you get the
models?

sweet ... the car of my dreams (crack that baby wide open on some long
stretch of desert hi-way) ... wouldn't turn down a gt350 either

thanks :-)

I got them from DMI (http://www.dmi-3d.net/). The models do need a little work
and to be converted before they are POV-ready though. For example, as mentioned
before, all glass surfaces are a single surface, which will render as a solid
block in POV, so I usually need to duplicate and offset the window meshes to
make proper glass, plus usually some other work. The models are generally nice
though, and of varying quality, and there are lots, and, most importantly, they
are free.
