The starting of a Lego sequence of pictures i'm working on. I'm trying to
duplicate the look and feel of the instruction book that came with this model.

The box lists:
LEGO Building Toy 386
Made in Canada by Samsonite of Canada Limited

I've not had success finding this model on the internet(limited looking).
I got this as a christmass gift in my youth. The recent posts have renewed my
interest. Still some parts to model, and some to improve.
This picture is the same posted by me on the Bishop3d website.

Comments welcome.

Do a search for: Lego helicopter set 386

Some of what I found:
Comes from the "rescue" line.
http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/386-1
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/386
http://legobrickinstructions.com/lego_rescue.php

The last one provide the building instructions.

I have that set! If you can't find the instructions, I'll try to dig out mine.
Here is my render of the set which looks pretty close.

Wow, that brings back memories - we had that kit when I was a kid. :-)

Yes, that is the set. I have the box and instructions. Nice render.
I'm modeling my own blocks, so the hats and hair piece will be a challenge.

I wonder why the word "cute" comes to my mind when I watch that image.
Also sentiments of childhood innocence.

Thanks! My hat and hair pieces are CSG which is why it is a male instead of
female!
