Sure, sounds great, but I'm not sure what I need to do...do I need to upload it
somewhere? Are you working on the Vega Strike project? I've played around
with it some--especially the Privateer remake.

Just register on their forums and they'll tell you what to do. Most likely
you'll just email it to them and they'll take care of the rest.

Yes, I've done a little work towards Vega Strike. Mostly interface work which
unfortunately can't be implemented until they update the rendering engine.

Hmmm...I'm not sure what you are referring to. Portals?

Well, I registered and posted it to the "Artwork and Content Vetting" forum.
They can use it if they like it, I suppose.

I was referring to these
http://news.povray.org/povray.binaries.images/thread/%3Cweb.48359f707216425da5d4a01d0%40news.povray.org%3E/
whatever theyre called. Been trying to make something looking like that...
without any success.

Kirk, this is a really nice image. I remember those towers from some
forum posts a year or two ago - random spline sweeps I think. Anyway, very
cool, I'm loving the sci-fi. As for the arched columns with ivy - I agree they
would look great in this type of setting too.

Awesome! It occurred to me later that I maybe should have offered to start an
introductory thread for you. Looks like you beat me to it!

Thank you. Yes, these are the same buildings. I believe the code is posted
over in scene files, by the way.

Wow that's absolutely stunning!

Has the image been photoshopped? It looks a bit too contrasty and the lens
flares from the highlights on the domes are obviously some kind of trick.
I'm guessing the contrast is just good lighting and the flares are
nkflares.inc or something, but it could be photoshopped.

I'm jealous... must render something sci-fi...
