Mmm.. Why is that moonbridge coming from right, as moon is in left? :)

Faint "moonbridge" is more visible in previous img without Vicky.

Light bridge is a white light and source of Tigyrate vortex.

Vicky is curios also and flies in for a closer look.

Considering writing a clock driven wing flap for animation.

Also need to conceive the water movement.

and that point brings to my attention that we can turn up the light that
illuminates it. maybe whiten a little

calculation suggests a color of 1 1 0.8157
being that the sky color = 0.4118,0.4118,0.5961 = blue 0.1843 higher than r&g
 = current setting of - color <1,1,0.8157>*12

I didnt expect it to be this low, but the moon does actually get White
around light blue .3 , far from .8

Is it my psychosis or am I emulating and mirroring my government?

How does one face their mortality; is probably an individual choice. I do it
here and now. At least I did this. At least I mattered and made a difference to
someone in some capacity. It would be horrible if I could not say this. How much
one matters or how big a difference is never an issue but to a negative ego.

What makes you stop crying? Must be dead if you can't cry or well on the way.

Once mortality is faced, never quite the same again. Something worth having will
slip away. That never sits right again. In a dingy on a sea of meaninglessness I
drift. Stop it! No. I wont deny my soul.

Burns brightly but only briefly then is gone.

better I think. the bumpmap is working and we see more detail.

got the sphere mapped inside this way

sphere {
  <0,0,0>,1
  texture { CosmosSkySphere }
  interior_texture { T_sky } //sky swiped from skies.inc added filter .5
  hollow
  scale 5000
}

both achieved thanx to Thomas helping out. Thanks a million Thomas!

I didn't see Bill. Could not have learned this much without you. Thanks.

No less than 4 refinements:
Lunar bump implemented for more detail
This affected dark-side of moon blending out completely with mapped BG-plane
Light angle syntax-mistake corrected (input is degrees doh)
Vicky's lighting color brings a glow to her, matching the scene

Use of BG-plane leaves default black sky. The effect is lighting water texture
with minimum foreground scene color absorption

I am thinking the inverse sphere method is what removes color absorption from
sky to foreground scene, but no water texture lighting.

The difference in the final product is seen.

all previous really suck compared to this one.

Trace level 15 sends render time thru the roof (Hair)
Trace level 10 used.

Moon to full brightness with sky filter value
Wings filtered
Hair adjusted (shinny hair slows render)
