Interesting, looks very real. The background (floor part) doesn't look like
vomit silly! Just looks like a 1970's linolium :P

Well, I thought perhaps it would be interpreted that way :P

That's a good idea for doing ice, I'll have to play around with that
method a bit. Thanks :)

This is just the latest in a long line of impressive POV-images that you've
done. Is there someplace you've collected them together in a gallery? If
not, I hope you do at some point.

High praise! I'm not worthy!

I'm sorry about my late reply, but I was at my girlfriend's house for a
couple of days.

My girlfriend has made for me a MySpace profile, and placed a bunch of
my images there. Most of the 3-D stuff I made with POV-Ray, but some was
created in LightWave. There are also traditional works and some
Apophysis stuff as well. Here's the link:

Also, I have my own website where I've placed some images with some
comments. No POV stuff though :(

Hope you enjoy them!

Thanks, Ben. I'd like to see how you do with the technique.

On retrospect, I should have scaled the bracelet absolutely using min_
and max_extent, for I just scaled it by eye in this image, and I believe
a bead is poking through. Oops :D

That link does not work like it should. Go here:

Under my image there's a "View My: Pics" link.

Wow! What an impressing result! And the idea behind is just as great! Go on
that way!

Hmm... An idea for an addition: one or two water drops somewhere around, and
below the bracelet a small amount of water (melted ice). What do you think,
Sam?

Background: maybe some early spring grass, just appearing under melting
snow? The bracelet then was forgotten begin of last winter...
