Nice looking teapot. If you build it I'd like to see a picture.
And I thought I was the only person who did both ceramics and POVray.
You can see my ceramic stuff here:

As for POV I'm pretty much a newbie, but I've posted a couple of pics
to this forum recently.

Just about the oppsite, myself. I'm a newbie at ceramics; I'm taking a
class. But simple glazes are so easy to make as textures, I couldn't resist
mixing POV and pots.

The bottom surface doesn't look very efficient for heat exchange... Now I
want to see the stove you're heating this on!

Nice textures, though!

That probably went right over the heads of most of the Yanks.

I got it, but I'm less than proud to be an American, so does that count?

I've never seen a 'Disgruntled Brit' emoticon before ;)

Anyway, the wood texture is from woods.inc. T_Wood6, I think.

Sorry I can't tell, see lower...

Don't mistake, if I'm Breton (from Brittany) I'm not British (from Britain)
I just think tea is the closest to edible thing British can produce, so they
deserve some respect for their laudable effort. ;-)

Oh we were talking about a picture! Sorry

I love the design of your teapot but are you sure it will not pour around
the cup?

It will not, in fact, pour at all. If you look, that pointy thing at the
front, combined with the hole in the middle, means that no matter how I
build it, it will be form, not function for which I aspire.
