I pretty much took the summer off from this project. However, I'm ready to
get moving on it again. I have been working on a series of rigging macros &
textures. Your comments are as welcome as always.

Tim

Very nice work! How did you create the rope?

It is made up of scaled spheres with a spiral pattern applied. They are then
rotated and translated to place.

About how many spheres to make the picture?

Fantastic as all the pictures of your project you posted. I'm really
impressed on your patience with this, you have been modelling on the
ship for quite some time now. And the level of detail - wow, I mean, you
simply care about everything :)

So how many lines of SDL is right in the whole ship by now?

Keep up the great work!
Florian

Hey you are digging deep in all microscopic details!!! great!
I think you can get spiral pattern a bit longer. Your ropes are hemp colored
and I don't know if hemp allows so tight strands.

Keep up the excellent work!!!

I altered the macro to count the spheres in the rigging assembly and came up
with 723. Some of them are out of the image boundaries.

Hope that helps.

So far...that is a tough one as the SDL is contained in many include files.
I looked through 2 of the largest and came up with about 25,000 lines.

Thanks for your positive comments.

Thank you for your comments Marc. I too have concerns with the pitch of the
spiral and will continue to tinker with it.

Thanks, just curious. That seems efficient.
