It's already over 2 weeks since I decided to make a scene for IRTC - and my
progress is quite slow. I replaced the idea of my big, flying, fire spitting
dragon with a worm. (I tried creating one with Blender first.. but that sort
of software is too complicated for me.. so my only option was CSG) Now what
should I replace the spell casting wizard with? I made a CSG wizard, but
someone I showed it to called it a 'pink dalek' (I can't even find that word
in my English dictionary, but it sounds quite discouraging).
I experimented a bit more with media and isosurfaces, and I really like those
features of PovRay, if only they would render a bit faster.
This small test-render already took 3 hours 4 minutes on a P3 933Hz.

"Dalek" is the correct spelling.

Thanks, I found some pictures.. oh well, there really is some similarity to my
mage model :). Seeing this websites now, I think I might have seen Dr Who some
time, but the German version sure was not nearly as popular as the original,
if there was one at all.

Perhaps giving the scene some sort of context, ie, in a cave or
castle or something... right now its just floating in fog...

That said, the fog is really thick. Is this an outdoor fog, or
smoke from the worm? If its smoke, maybe make it sit at the
top of the scene.

That worm guy _is_ really cute :)
