After seeing Christoph's "Let it snow" posting, I couldn't resist. :)
Had a little problem with my cargo lights for a bit. Couldn't figure
out why they wouldn't turn on whenever it snowed. Then I cut the
snowfall in half and all was clear. (or at least the space in front of
the lights...)

You might need some of these...

This reminds me of something I saw as a sailor. I was on one of the
ships which participated in the evacuation of civilian dependents from
Subic, after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, and the ash from the volcano
looked like this, draped as a fine layer over /everything/.
As a minor nit, the inside surface of the fender shouldn't accumulate
snow, should it? How would it get there?

You probably should at least add a slope threshold to the snow macro,
because it would not stick that much to the material in this case.
Anyway it look funny.

You're still missing the gun rack.

I just noticed something catching the tail end of a wrestling show,
just before Martial Law, those macho pro wrestlers not only shave
their chests but underarms. Next time I check their legs.

hhhmmm... now I gotta try it with grey snow....
Nah, ash doesn't do that overhang thing....

I don't see it. Waitaminit... You mean under the center stake
pocket? That'd be caused by my forgetting to put a bottom in the
pocket.

It's YOUR macro. I'm waiting to see if you come up with that option.
Reminds me of something else that was happening when I had twice as
much snow in the scene. The snow sitting on the outside of the fender
was overhanging right through to the inside of the box. I thought I'd
done something bizarre in modelling the box...

Thanks. I keep plugging away at the truck model and every time I see
something interesting my render times go through the roof.

That has to wait until I model the cab. (AAArrrggg...that's gonna
hurt!)

Ooohhh... I like!
Much better than the ones I already came up with. I put a set
together from Tyre.inc, but theyre pretty basic. I've got a photo of
the actual tread pattern on my tires to use with that INC file, but
it's gotta wait until I get the film developed.
