Nope. Still inline here (KNode 0.6.1).

now... ? should I use yEnc, MIME, or neither ? Maybe I should change
something in headers ? I turned off Content-Type and Mime-Verison this
time.

btw. Is there some special news-client for POV ? What for is
X-POV-Header: --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ---
?

My newsreaded could decode the files in the first posting but not the
second one. Unfortunately you chose to use a rather non-standard TIF
compression format, and I don't seem to have anything that can display
the contents of such files. Is there any reason why you can't use a more
standard format like JPEG?

No :( Still not good. It shows now as attachments but when I save them the
files don't get unencoded. Unfortunately I cannot tell you what
respectively why it is going wrong. The webinterface does not have problems
with the attachments though.

No, there is no special news-client. I guess the 'X-POV-Header' line is
just some stripline.

JPEG is poor for "computer-generated" images (with clear, light color),
eaven at 95 quality still artefacts are very visible. Asecialy in non-
blured sphere - the border around red checker is blured and have dark-red
sourounding

another try (8bit, MIME 1, MIME)

Now it worked! Shows even up inline in my newsreader.

I cannot see any artifacts without zooming in. If you really need an
alternative to jpeg I would suggest png which is wider spread in the web
than tiff.

This worked.

The blur method used seems to be similar to the one i used in Megapov
MCP. It's probably also at least as slow as there... ;-)
