Nice Scale. :{) It reminded me of a scale I created for a local lawyer
sometime back. Unfortunately mine is more symbolic than functional. I didn't
build in the ability to tilt. :{P

Just so you don't get away with being too smug with that reply scales
is also an accurate designation for this type of measurement device.

Neato, scales!  I might be able to make one too, thanks for giving me the
idea, intended or not.
The camera perspective really plays into these two images.  Any tilts other
than the weighing kind make them seem unbalanced.  I only half mean that
though.

Pretty good.
Perhaps a nice ruled arc near the tip of that center extender for
measurements of some sort?

You're right. In my case, a front-on view was what we wanted anyhow, but it is
irksome that other camera angles tended to make it look "off". I think Stefan's
will not suffer as much though, as it is already off balance.

Ah great! I wanted to model one of these, lemme see, about sixteen
months ago, and failed (missed the deadline, sort of :) ). Lance
helped me out back then with a set of scales he had modelled in MAX
but still I failed. It's good to see you did't.
