(but I'm late on the update of the page. missing stereoscopic camera and
planet transformation of mesh, as well as the uv-mapping of sphere_sweep)

Thanks to Lanuhum's work, official Blender exporter now also has textured hair
Both patterns and bitmaps supported, though bitmaps are much slower to export for
now.

Now this UV textured sphere sweep would definitely be a much valuable addition
to the exported hair, is there any chance it makes it in official POV-Ray
version soon?

In what version of a blender the new official version of the exporter is
available?

Taking an opportunity, communicating with the developer Le Forgeron, I want to
ask you a question not about a subject:

You wouldn't like to borrow a code of drawing of hair at a renderer of Aqsis?

Compiled with Python version 2.6.2.
Checking for installed Python... got it!
Welcome to MOSAIC Beta-0.2!

As you see on the release log here
https://developer.blender.org/diffusion/BA/history/master/render_povray/

The feature was added on Wed, Mar 12 7:51 AM
So you can either take the python files by browsing from the previous page to
replace older ones in your addon folder or download any Blender build more
recent than that from one of these sites:

http://www.graphicall.org/
http://builder.blender.org/download/

Unless of course if you can build blender from source, just do your usual build
and it's there.
