Just a quick doodle inspired by Helaman Ferguson's "Umbilic Torus",
though slightly different (I gave it "an extra twist", literally).

Radiosity, photons, and some ground fog to blend the horizon.

Some kind of organic beauty arises from this metallic doodle...

Nice indeed. Just wondering: is it a moebius too?

If you define "a moebius" as an object that - despite giving a different
impression at first glance - has only a single face and a single edge,
then yes: The only major difference between this object and Ferguson's
"Umbilic Torus" is that where Ferguson's toroid has a "twist" of 1/3 (if
you know what I mean), this one has a "twist" of 2/3.
