Modern Druidism was invented by the Victorian gentry

How right you are :)

For some reason my newsreader attached this to a post in 2000 "Motobike with
Blobman" ???

Wow! I posted it from Windows Mail on Vista (what used to be Outlook).
I've looked at it both on Windows Mail and Thunderbird and it puts it in the
right place on the Stonehenge thread in both those.

Having said that, the reason I downloaded Thunderbird last night was because
I'd noticed some strange things happening on these newsgroups. I've seen a
high number of dissappearing messages recently. For example I can see
several replies on 'newusers', without the original messages. When this
sort of thing happened using Outlook on NT a couple of years ago I was told
it was my newsreader not taking account of sequential numbers allocated to
posts that had been deleted where the number was subsequently reused by the
server. I don't know how true that is, or whether there's anything can be
done about that if that's what's happening.

What news reader are you using?

Regards,
Chris B.

I'm using Agent and it's at fault. I checked your post using IE8 and the
sequence is fine.

I changed the sort method to author then back to subject and everything is in
its proper place now. Weird.

When I switched off UAC to install Pov 3.7 Agent lost all the bodied of all the
messages posted in the last month. Very very weird.

Sounds like this Agent thing is *not* a software to be recommended...

Well I started using Free Agent years ago and was happy with it. Then I bought
Agent when I had to upgrade and wanted to keep all of the OT posts. Please don't
ask me why :)
I'm thinking of changing to something that will work with PSP. Just now instead
of clicking on an image in a post I need to save it in another directory then
open the directory and browse it with PSP. Upgrading from the no longer
supported Free Agent was a mistake.
Any recommendations?
