Just got back from trip...we went through 60 beers and about a gallon on
liquor, then helped a friend move....I'm tired...
Anyway, after 152 hours 16 minutes 15 seconds (548175 seconds), I find out
that I have the water right, but that the material of my sphere has some
issues with the corrosion macro...easily fixed. I used a DOSCH Extreme
Hi-Res HDR map for this scene.
Now I can focus on improving collision detection and orientation in my
macros.

To my experience, that's doing things the wrong way round - are you sure you
moved them to the right place? :P

Hum... why is the *top* of the sphere - which is *outside* the water - corroded,
while the *bottom* of the sphere - which is *inside* the water - is in perfect
condition??

Thats something that has to be fixed. I have to call trace from the same
vector for the vine and corrosion macro because of some simple oversight
which I need to track down. I want the corroded part to end just above the
waters surface.
