A short test-render...needed nearly 3 days to render (because of the hdri
enviroment)
Most LEGO-pieces are done with CSG, only some isosurfaces are used.
Some opinions or critics to this image?

Maybe on the following four images you could see a bit more of the pieces
itself.
(How the heck could I add more than one attachment?)

One of the nicer Lego renderings I've seen. You've obviously spent some
time playing with these things; you've got all the little shapes down. :-)
My only complaint is that you have the highlighting (let me
guess--phong?) cranked up a bit too high. That one thing makes the image
scream "CG" to me. Fix that, and you're getting into photo-realistic
territory.

Back before my buddies and I turned 21, booze was too much trouble to
acquire (have to find somebody to pull for you, pretend to like
him/share with him/whatever, etc.) So, we typically just avoided the
whole mess and sat around smoking weed. Those retailers never check ID.

Hmm... I think the yellow is a little bit too dark, dull. I remember that
the yellow was a bit brighter, isn't it?
Greetings,
Sven

Moin moin,
thanks for your comments!
@ William Tracy: Your're right, it's phong...I have to reduce it ;)
@ Sven Littkowski: Well, the first image with the hdri enviroment is much darker
than the other four, so there the yellow is really quite too dark. I have to
look, how I can handle this...
Greetings

The Lego pieces look good to me, but I'm no expert. POV-Ray's SDL could
be used to create a more ambitious (and "large") model than any
"real-life" modeler could manage, though the car works for a "test render."
