I've taken apart lots of PDAs and mobile phones, nearly all of them have
snap-fit covers and then T6 torx screws to hold things together internally.
I've not seen anything with security screws on ... yet!

The kind I really hate is those screw heads designed to be screwed but
impossible to unscrew. they have 2 helicoidal ramps.

Oddly enough, I've seen those used to hold bathroom stalls together. I'm
not sure if they thought someone would disassemble the stall and steal
the parts, or what they were thinking.

If things really do go wrong, your driver may find itself having to
reset or perform other acts of violence against one of its devices.

Know any junior-highers? That's why they can't be unscrewed. :)

For a while there was some guy in Philadelphia dressing up as a plumber
so he could go into public buildings and steal the fittings off the
sinks and toilets to sell for scrap. I thought that was pretty clever in
a gross sort of way, myself.

Thanks Kenneth. No change then.
Thanks also for seeing what I am aiming at: 'Earth but alien'.
Good observation btw re: random tightening :-)

Dammit, Biil. You may be able to bend space, time and gravity to produce
your images but the rest of us are still using the junior carpenter kit
