I sit at your feet, why?
I thought that you set up a magnet then created a morph with the magnet settings
applied. Is that a "Duh" moment for me?

So have I ( Poser 6) although I'm thinking of reinstalling Poser 4 to get a BVH
programme I've got, working.

Well, now you got me curious. :) I found this, it explains the new morphing
feature in Poser 7:
http://www.e-frontier.com/article/articleview/2092/1/324/
Kinda makes me want to get Poser 7.

Oh! We are talking about different things. And I can't get the video to play :-(

I'll probably wait until Poser 8 then Poser 7 will be discounted :-)

I kind of figured we were. :) Too bad it won't play for you. It works like a
brush to push or pull parts of a mesh. And it has several controls for the
brush. And no *#@% magnets! And an automated symetry thingy that looks
very cool for morphing symetrical thingies... like humans.

Thanks for the description. I can't get magnets to work very well for me either.

Yes, I have Poser7. I started experimenting with the morphing tool. I works
quite intuitively, but one has to be very careful with the settings. Also,
at boundaries between figure and object, it tends to jump from one to the
other without notice and you have to backtrack a bit (mostly ctrl-z is
enough) to correct the mess. However, I only started, so this may be newbie
stuff as it were.

Hmm. I guess I prefer Jasmin's tutorial on the Renderosity site. Video's
often make me yawn :-)
However, this explains well the workings, although it avoids the problem I
mentioned higher up in the thread about the boundaries between figure and
object.

Hi Thomas,
this is Michael,
I just read your words: "I guess I prefer Jasmin's tutorial on the
Renderosity site" .....
I looked instantly at Renderosity, but there is no tutorial from JASMIN ...
:-(((
Can you please write me the link down.
thanks Michael

It's crazy :-( I am unable to find it!!!
The link was by JasminC, somewhere in April this year, but I don't remember
if it was in the tutorial or the Poser forum section. But whatever I do, I
find nothing at all. A pity, because it was a neat little tutorial....
