Perhaps the guard could be seated?
Something like a cop outside a hospital room...

I see some banding from the lights. If you're using area_lights, try
putting some jitter into them.

You should use adaptive for all area_light. Start with adaptive 0, go to
adaptive 1 if you get artefacts (aray at least 5*5), adaptive 2 if you still get
artefacts (aray at least 9*9)...
With adaptive 0, area_light 1*x,1*y, 33,33 (or even 65,65) is almost as fast as
...4,4

With adaptive, the optimum aray size are: 5 (usualy to sparse), 9, 17 (I normaly
start at this density), 33, 65, 129 (this and greater are problbly overkill), ...

They're not area lights. too slow for test renders. Will change them to area
later.

Nice one!

That reminds me I must give Tom Melly back his DVD before I start working in the
lowlands.

Wouldn't fit with the feel of the scene I had in mind. The fact that the
feel hasn't come across properly is another issue.

Most of the pictures I do have a story behind them, even if it's just a few
lines. I tend to find that picture and story come together.

They're not always action scenes, but I find those the eaiest to recreate.

Hmmm, interesting analysis. Not something that I thought of.

I'm not fully satisfied with it either. I'll put it aside for a day or two,
see what comes to mind.

Yeah, why don't you say that to Superman to his face! :-)
