My goodness! That's pretty huge! Impressive!
You have there a complete museum, I guess, with all the exhibits, rooms,
etc?
...personnel too? ;-)

Some rooms, some outside stuff (trees and such) A few fountains and some
video displays. Oh and the globes are animated too

A real pity it isn't possible to just go walking around in a POV scene. ;)
That place makes me think of what a big mall in the Old World might be like.

Hopefully your full res rendering looks okay spherically projected, those
things always require so many pixels to keep from breaking down visually.
Um, is it just me not seeing area lights? :)

I haven't tried that yet because for as far as I know one needs the full 180
degree view vertically. This one is less so you have a hole in the ceiling
and the floor.

You're right. No area lights. I started it with area lights and it took
about an hour before the first pixel would appear :) I still might give it
a try though.
