For me it's hard to see the difference of Y and Z. Guess my monitor is
se to too dark (brightness 0%) :p.

I can see a difference between all rectangles, but only if that image is the
only thing on my monitor :)
(but I have a quite bright windows-theme)

As a suggestion you should try to find an ICM for your monitor
that adjusts the screen so that it reflects the actual output.
In printshops and other places this is very important.
You just load it somewhere under the properties.

Look it up :)
